Ladies and Gentlmen:
Need help! Just starting out trying to get SG-1000 pfSense appliance going. Am not an IT person. Want to get a firewall with pfSense to avoid getting randsomeware again.
Question, the SG-1000 has two RJ-45 ports. One is WAN and the other is LAN. Hooked up the LAN port to the desktop and powered up the SG-1000 pfSense appliance. Tried communicating with it using 192.168.1.1 in the browser address bar. Unable to communicate with it. How does one communicate with the pfSense device in order to setup the firewall BEFORE connecting the device to the cable modem?
Someone please advise. Thanks.
Rolly, somewhat a newbie.
