Hi. I recently increased the subnet mask and DHCP pool on my pfSense DHCP server to a /22 supernet to increase DHCP leases. Even after changing the pfSense subnet mask to /22, I still can't connect to the web interface when I'm on a different C level.
I know that if your subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 you shouldn't be able to connect. But my subnet mask is 255.255.252.0, so it should be fine.
It seems to me that it SHOULD be working because I've changed my other statically set devices' subnet masks to /22, and their web interfaces connect. For example, i'm at 192.168.1.17 and I couldn't connect to the web interface for my NAS at 192.168.0.14 until I changed the NAS's subnet to 255.255.252.0. Makes sense, but doing the same thing on the pfSense router doesn't work!
I can ping the pfSense router alright, and if I'm on the same C level I can...
