Networking Rookie.
I wanted to start evaluating PfSense at my home to see how it will work. Before I ask you questions let me tell you our current network setup at home.
Comcast internet Modem ==> Unifi AmpliFi HD Mesh Router (wireless)
All devices are connected only through Amplifi wireless.
I got a Dell desktop computer with 2 NICs so I installed PfSense on it for both WAN & LAN setup.
I got a two HP Procurve 1810 switch as well just in case we need it.
Now without disturbing my existing setup (Amplifi), how can I work on PfSense for testing.
I have a HP desktop computer as well which I use it most of the time, I wanted to test the PfSense capability on this HP desktop computer without disturbing my existing other wireless client devices which are connected to Amplifi HD wireless.
1) Can I really create a two separate networks at home...
