My pfSense router is not listening on port 443 after setting up SSL cert

I have created a new cert in pfSense via Lets Encrypt (ACME package) and my CloudFlare API. However, when I try to apply the cert the webConfigurator (web GUI) will not load:

MyMacPro:~ crimKidA$ netcat -vz 192.168.1.1 443
host.domainOnCloudFlare.com [192.168.1.1] 443 (https): Operation timed out

I have been editing `viconfig` in the shell of the pfSense to set the - portion back to HTTP but I need to fix this - any ideas? Many thanks, all.
