Issues using squid with squidGuard in PFSENSE

I work as a network administrator at a school and I am working on replacing the old web filter we have with a server running PFSENSE. It is configured to use squid, squidGuard, and PFBlocker. For testing purposes I have PFSENSE running on a VM in Hyper-V, on our Dell Vertex, which runs a cluster with three blades. When connecting to the proxy, if both squid and squidGuard are on, I get this error message when accessing any website. However, if squidGuard is off, the proxy works as expected. Any website I access loads up fine. I tried looking through the squidGuard settings to see if some setting there was messing it up, but I couldn't find anything. If anyone could help that would be great!
