I was able to setup a tunnel between pfsense and edgerouter with wireguard.
Both device is behind a L3 switch at their respective ends.
Both L3 switch have respective routes to the pfsense and edgerouter on both ends.
The L3 switches handles routing within vlans on both ends.
The issue is, clients behind the L3 switches on both ends can not reach either lans over the tunnel.
I have allowed networks of both lans on the tunnel but am not sure what I am missing. Also the L3 switches has routes to both lans to the edgerouter and pfsense on both ends.
The edgerouter can ping the pfsense over the tunnel and viceversa. But the edgerouter have to initiate the ping before the pfsense can ping, not sure why that is happening but I would like if it any side can initiate communication.
Any advise or guidance would be appreciated.
