Hello Everyone,
I am a student in college and I have a project where I have to set up a pfsense firewall in virtualbox. One of the requirements is to block all incoming ICMP packets from the WAN including traceroute. I created the Firewall rule on the WAN interface blocking any ICMP traffic. However, traceroute is not getting blocked and is being allowed through. Do you have any idea of what I may be doing wrong. Any help is appreciated, thank you.Image may be NSFW.
