Trying to install pfSense on Hyper-V VM

Hey Y'all

I'm trying to install pfSense as a VM on Hyper-V.  I follow the instructions, here Opens a new window Opens a new windowOpens a new window, to the letter.  But on startup it shows the initial Linux boot menu then starts to boot to the installer but fails and the VM restarts.  It does this three times then the VM shuts down.

What am I doing wrong?
