Firewall is limiting me to under 10Mbps modem has over 40 available

I installed pfSense quite some time ago and thought it was working fine until recently downloading a file, I noticed it was taking forever.  Oh, I'm running version 2.6.0.  I use Speedtest.net to test.  I can use my desktop or cell phone to test the LAN side and the cable modem has WiFi which, using  the cell phone, I test the WAN side with.  I found a YouTube video that addressed the problem and a couple commenters indicated it worked for them, but it didn't for me.  I need to go back and find that to see what setting was changed.  I haven't tried to set any limits.  It's just me here and I don't like to be limited.  If this has been answered somewhere here before, I didn't find it searching.  Please someone direct me what to look for.  And forgive any grammar and/or spelling errers.
