I am not a Linux guy by any means. It is safe to say that the only Linux OS i have semi successfully operated was the Mint LMDE Distro. With that said. I have a Client that is experiencing high MBUF usage on his pfsense firewall. His traffic has increased dramatically over the last few months and it has slowly crept up there. I would like to increase the available max limit for him however i am not sure how. My Dear Sweet friend Google has given me very minimal and useless information on how to do this. Not to say that the info is bad. its just that i don't understand it because it is Linux. Is there anyone out there that knows of a step by step procedure on how to increase the MBUF Max on my clients firewall?
Here is a reference i found if it helps.
